ARCHITEKTUR IM ANTHROPOZÄN

fieldstation studio unterrichtete von Dr. Corneel Cannaerts und Michiel Helbig an der KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture ist ein Master of Architecture Designstudio. Es handelt sich um einen lokalen Knoten innerhalb des fieldstations eV – Netzwerks. http://www.fieldstationstudio.org/

Wie können architektonische Ansätze zu aktuellen Krisen und Gebieten im Kontext des Anthropozäns und der Technosphäre untersucht werden? Können kollektive Forschungsmethoden, die auf die Handlung neuer Phänomene und Technologien ausgerichtet sind, neue architektonische und kulturelle Modelle hervorbringen? Cannaerts und Helbig werden Forschungsarbeiten der letzten drei Jahre vorstellen, die die Experimente des Studios darstellen. Ihre Präsentation wird den Rahmen eine Y-Table-Diskussion bilden, die von Christophe Barlieb und Lidia Gasperoni von Fieldstations eV moderiert wird.

Der Abend findet in englischer Sprache statt.

How can we explore architectures relating to contemporary urgencies and domains connected to the Anthropocene and the Technosphere? Can collective research methods focusing on agency of emerging phenomena and technologies produce new architectural and cultural models? Cannaerts and Helbig will feature research from the past three years highlighting the studio’s experiments. Their presentation will set the stage for a Y-Table discussion moderated Christophe Barlieb and Lidia Gasperoni of fieldstations eV.
